Keryn McMaster Australian Swim Champ drops into Rosewood to say hello!

Keryn McMaster, a local swimmer from the Logan Vikings Swim Club, now finds herself as an Australia Swimming Champion. At the 2012 Queensland Swimming Championships she was the only swimmer to compete in the 400m Individual Medley. McMaster is not only the 2013 400m Individual Medley Champion but also the 2013 U.S. Champion. Keryn places herself as the 5thfastest 400m Individual Medley Swimmer in Australia. In 2014, Keryn McMaster will be representing Australia in the 2014 BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series, competing against other countries such as Brazil, China, Japan and South Africa. With a team of 30 strong swimmers, Keryn will be competing alongside some of Australia’s world champion  swimmers, such as James Magnussen and Cate Cambell.

Keryn visited our little town of Rosewood, just last week and visited the local pool. Encouraging and supporting some of our group of local country swimmers.  Many big things are in the near future for this young talented swimmer. Best of luck Keryn!
