ROSEWOOD SHOW SCHOOL DISPLAYS 2013

Their winning School Display.
§  Each year at the Rosewood Show I personally sponsor school displays which show the fantastic work of students and teachers in the district.
§  Seven schools participated this year and it was great to have St Brigid’s part of the school displays and taking out first prize.
§  Very difficult decision for the judges whose decisions were based on:

House Captains: Jordan Ravanelli & Ava McGeary
with Cr. Pahlke and the trophy.

Ø  variety and standard of student work presented,

Ø  imaginative use of space
Ø  impression created by the display.
§  Positives for the judges were that the St Brigid’s display:

Ø  showcased the school achievements with a focus on celebrating difference
Ø  demonstrated the values of the school community
Ø  created a display area that was creative, eye catching and colourful.
Teacher Aide: Sue Castle,
Chaplain: Carol Skele and Cr. Pahlke
with the Certificate.

§  The main thing that gave the St Brigid’s display the winning edge in a tough competition was the variety and quality of student work from all levels.

§  It was not only the judges who were impressed because St Brigid’s was also second in line for the People’s Choice award which was won by Ashwell SS.

§  As well as the cheque for $150 which was presented at the Show I am pleased to present St Brigid’s Primary School with the perpetual trophy for the 2013 School Display .
