ROSEWOOD residents will soon be able to visit the local pool, not only for a swim, but also for a workout from Monday, September 19.
Division 10 Councillor David Pahlke said the pool’s lessee had decided to install some exercise equipment at the pool to enhance visits by locals who want to a work out as well
“There is an undercover room which has been converted to the workout area containing cardio and pin weighted equipment,” Cr Pahlke said. New pool Lessee 1984 Olympic bronze medallist Justin Lemberg said a pool fence had been installed to ensure restricted access to the area.
“The new area is being established at no cost to council and will be maintained by pool’s lessee, Australian Crawl Swim Schools.” Mr Lemberg said people would be able to access the pool on a casual basis for $5 for a swim and workout or unlimited access for $9.99 a week direct debit. “A program can also be designed by a personal trainer to allow patrons to follow a 15 station complete work out.”
