Student leaders at Rosewood State School have impressed local leaders State Member for Ipswich West Wayne Wendt and Cr David Pahlke. Both Wayne and David were unable to attend the official badge presentation and chose instead to meet the leadership team over morning tea.
“We chose to shout the children morning tea and present them with co-signed certificates, recognising their leadership roles, giving us a chance to meet the students,” David said. Wayne added, “It was a time to chat about the challenges of leadership and both David and I were impressed with the group.
“Rosewood should be proud of these young leaders.” David added that it was intersting that most of the leaders had started schooling as Prep students at Rosewood.  Principal Sandy Christensen said the morning tea was another example of the close relationship the school community has with both Mr Wendt and Cr Pahlke.
