What a great day!!!! An estimated 7000 flocked to the Grandchester Reserve to join in the festivities. Steamfest is held every 5 years and is a community based event showcasing and highlighting not only STEAM but the various community groups in the locality.

Around 300 people arrived via a special Steam Train. Celebrations included displays of steam engines, model steam locos, Cobb and Co. coach rides, blacksmithing, and various arts and crafts.

It was a hugely successful day and congratulations to the Steamfest Committee!!!
