Brisbane Marketing and the JPT Tour Group have joined with Ipswich City Council to link the city to the country with the launch of an exclusive new day-tour to showcase Queenslands countryside.
The tour will depart the Gold Coast 7.30am and Brisbane at 9am and include well known Ipswich landmark Queens Park. The centre is a habitat for native wildlife and many formalised gardens and family facilities. Spicers Hiddenvale – a 12,000acre working cattle station is also included along with Woodlands of Marburg.
Also present at the launch was Brisbane Marketing Director Cathie McBean, Sian Yewdall BMs Media Manager, and Janet Hewitt ICC Tourism Manager.
Bob Brett of JPT said this was the first time that his group had been able to offer its customers such a unique and personal experience of the outback with direct access to real cattle farm and traditional stockyard activities at Spicers of Hiddenvale.
Bob says ” Currently it was tough times in the Tourism Market. But he has a philosophy – Never mind that when the times are tough the tough get going – THE TOUGH SHOULD ALWAYS BE GOING”
