New IGA takes shape in Walloon

 

Developer John Moman has had a long wait with the development Of his IGA store in Walloon. His dream started in early 2006 with preliminary discussions with Council and Cr David Pahlke.
The IGA will have a floor space of 650sqm and is a mid range Supermarket and will offer a large range of groceries, fruit and vegetables, and deli meats. Total cost of the project is just under $3 million.
There are two other tenancies in the building and John is remaining tightlipped on those for the moment. The IGA trading hours are Yet to be decided and he will be accepting applications for employment In April. There will be about 4 full time positions and about 20 casuals bringing employment opportunties to Walloon.
He hopes to open in May early June.
